I've been feeling so frustrated lately. Just when I thought I was getting back on track and able to work, I got hit with the virus again. When will this ever end? Two weeks ago, I was feeling alright as I had a long list of consultation inquiries to manage. I was busy replying to all the inquiries and scheduling level tests for many people. As I was wrapping up, I started feeling extremely tired. I initially attributed it to the workload from the past few weeks. However, things took a turn for the worse when, on Wednesday, I went home feeling like my body was falling apart. I couldn't sit properly, and it felt like the whole world was spinning. That night, I took a COVID self-test, but it came out negative. The following morning, I woke up with a sore throat and no voice. I was aching all over, had a sore throat, my head felt like it was splitting, and I couldn't even get up. So that Thursday afternoon, I took the test again, and lo and behold – two lines appeared.
Thanks to the brief respite, I was able to reflect on my daily routines and appreciate the little things around me.
