SUCKS!!!!

It really sucks to have a sore throat for such a long time. AND!!! Also, I have had this cracking voice for so long! I lost my voice at Tyler's soccer game and didn't even know I lost it. I lived 5 days with a hoarse voice and now it's cracking up! Uh, I hope I can get my voice back soon!

Recently, I came across a Netflix series about a girl who is considered a geek at school. She's bullied and has a passion for fashion. She's an introvert and prefers not to stand out, but she accidentally gets into modeling and becomes successful in the industry.

I could relate to this because I'm still the same kind of person. I've always been the outsider, struggling to fit in. I'm like the Asian girl at school whom everyone knew but never really talked to.

Even now I feel like an outsider in the industry I work in. It's a very competitive field, and as an English teacher, I feel like I don't get the same recognition as others in my profession. It's tough to admit that I'm not famous, popular, or well-known. (Wow that really hurts! Putting that out there!)

Nevertheless, like the main character in the series, I continue to be myself and appreciate the people who do value and support me for who I am.
