빅희 선생님 자체 교재 활용: 선생님이 직접 제작한 교재를 사용하여 배경지식(Contextual Knowledge)을 먼저 습득하고, 영어 소리 인지(Phonics & Auditory Skills)를 강화합니다. 이는 몬테소리의 감각 교육과 바칼로레아의 지식 기반 탐구를 반영합니다.
어휘 및 문장 구조의 깊은 이해: 단순 암기를 넘어, 단어의 뜻을 파악하고 해당 단어를 활용할 수 있는 맥락적인 예문을 스스로 만들어 봅니다. (바칼로레아: 개념 기반 학습)
단어-문장-프로젝트의 연결: 학습한 단어와 문장의 형태를 기반으로 작은 프로젝트를 수행하며 학습의 결과를 실제로 발표하고 사용합니다. (미네르바: 실생활 문제 해결, 바칼로레아: 지식의 적용)
2. 미디어 활용 및 자기 표현 (미네르바 & 바칼로레아: 비판적 사고 & 소통)
다양한 미디어 컨텐츠를 통한 확장: 다양한 영어 미디어 컨텐츠(영상, 기사 등)를 활용하여 교재의 본문과 관련된 심화 내용을 함께 익히고, 실제 언어 사용의 사례를 관찰합니다. (미네르바: Active Learning, 바칼로레아: Global Context)
자기 생각 정리 및 비판적 수용: 학생들은 미디어 속 내용을 비판적으로 분석하고, 본인의 생각과 미디어 속 내용을 영어로 정리하고 토론하는 훈련을 합니다. (미네르바: 비판적 사고 강화, 바칼로레아: 사고력 함양)
디지털 환경에서의 논리적 말하기 훈련: YouTube 영상 또는 Roblox와 같은 친숙한 플랫폼을 활용하여, 영어 단어 나열과 문장 나열을 논리적인 순서대로 구성하여 말하는 훈련을 집중적으로 진행합니다. (미네르바: 토론 중심 학습)
3. 영어식 사고 및 질의응답 (미네르바: 비판적 사고 & 몬테소리: 자기 주도성)
비판적 사고 질문 (CTQs) & 관심 분야 토론: Critical Thinking Questions (CTQs) 또는 학생의 개인적인 관심 분야를 다루는 질문에 대해 영어로 깊이 있게 대답하는 훈련을 통해 영어식 사고 전환을 훈련합니다. (미네르바: 토론 및 상호작용, 바칼로레아: 자기 탐구)
복습과 낭독을 통한 내면화: 수업이 끝난 후에는 자기 주도적 복습과 낭독 훈련을 통해 학습한 단어와 문장을 완전히 자기 것으로 만듭니다. (몬테소리: 반복 학습 및 내면화)
간결한 피드백 및 자율적 점검: 간단한 과제와 복습 내용을 학생 스스로 점검하게 하고, 선생님과 질의응답 시간을 통해 학습의 누락된 부분을 채웁니다. (몬테소리: 준비된 환경과 교사의 안내)
최대한 영어 사용 환경 조성: 우리 학생들은 수업시간에 최대한 영어로 대화하도록 노력합니다! (몰입 환경 조성)

수업:
주 1회, 1회당 40분 80% 영어로 진행 (토론과 대화를 하다 보면 최대 70분까지 수업이 길어질 수 있습니다. 스케줄 조정 시 참고해 주세요.)

주 1회, 1회당 40분 영어와 한국어를 5:5로 진행 (초급 레벨에 해당되는 친구들은 선생님이 맞춤형으로 조절하며 수업을 진행합니다.)

주 1회 소그룹(4:1) 북미 학교 + IB 학교 수업으로 진행 (90%영어 현지 학교 수업, 영어, 사회, 과학 교재들로 수업 진행합니다.)
과제:
매주 4개의 과제가 나가며, 학생이 자기 주도 적으로 과제를 완성해야 합니다.
더욱더 활발한 영어 활용을 위해서는 수업시간에 배운 내용, 교재 본문, 단어들을 하루에 한 번 복습하는 것을 권장합니다.
